The stirrups are black lightweight with cheesegrater threads, its also thicker in the stap area that I cant link the buttons of the barnes buckle.
Is there any other way to get them to fit before I bring them back and swap?

The top was too thick for the link to go in, I couldn't figure out how to get them to fit so I got rid. Fit my normal metal stirrups perfectly though. Probably not much help though, can you not take the buckles with you to the tack shop to try them out?
