It was the jolly ball later on.. usually it's the feed buckets that get that treatment.. the other day, he took the hose pipe out of the water bucket and started playing with it

They'd been playing tag, where the first on the floor (knees first) was it
My lad followed me around whilst I picked up all the feed buckets (all 6).. his pal wasn't far behind, wanting to instigate play...
hence the rearing up, doing the conga, and general coltish behaviour.. they're the local entertainment

My gelding & his fieldmate stallion are always picking up branches & buckets and bashing each other.
Do mares ever play like this or is it just the boys that are so inventive/violent lol
