at night she comes in her stable and thats where she gets her handling and she is happy with this my daughter goes in the stable with her lets her come to her then rubs her all over...she knows her little routine and is settling well...i dont want to push her and over handle her (so ive been told) any tips and advice would be greatly received

Youngsters are usually fine, well mine was until she hit her terrible 2's, then the fun and games began.

What you are doing seems to be working so if it ain't broke don't fix it. Maybe get her to walk out in hand once settled, to get her used to things like traffic, other people, animals etc. Start small with maybe a walk to end of the drive then back again and gradually increase it.

Being firm but fair is a method i use, no whips or smacking etc but just making sure they know not to over step the mark. If they learn they can take the micky when they are this young you will create problems for yourself as they get older.

I use horsmanship exercises which work very well with my two.

She looks lovely, such a sweetie. Looking forward to seeing lots of pics of her growing up. Will she change colour as she gets older I wonder?
