I'm an older adult, okay I'm 53. I own a 14 hand 3 yr old buckskin filly. After being started in English , I had her cross-trained in Western, she has 120 days of Western training. Here's the dilemma, I rode as a teen, don't ride now.
She has a quiet disposition and a good mind. She came out of bad circumstances when I bought her. I have an adult doing Parelli with her on a free lease. She has a lot of years ahead of her. I don't want to sell her, because I have no guarantee she wont fall back into bad circumstances,
I'm inclined to want to lease her as a children's equitation mount. That way I retain ownership and can assure she'll be taken care of and she will be ridden. Do junior riders have any interest in leasing a pony-or am I selling myself a bill of goods.

Have you checked with the local PonyClub? I always thought it was a British thing but apparently we have one around here (San Antonio, TX) so chances are you have one where you are as well?
How old is the horse though? It sounds as if she is still very young?
You must have a lot of willpower to resist keeping her for yourself! ;)
