Hi.... Im new to this site but can see there is alot going on here!

My horse loads fine on and off the box, its just that when we get to somewhere he is trying to jump over the partion to get out - does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can keep him calm on the box? I mainly go alone to shows or sometimes drag my partner - but you know when you need to go and walk the course or register you need your horse to stand calmly on the box - welll this doesn't happen.

Any advice would be great.:)

Thanks

Runs from side to side and turns in to a stallion speaking to everything that moves.... he did squash my partner up agaisnt the box a few weeks ago, not in a nasty way just forgot he was there.....oops......

He only really settles once he has been ridden for about 10 minutes, its just a pain really.

Is he ok to hack out alone?
What does he do if out alone and meets another horse?
Have you thought about using a calmer for a while?

I used to hack to shows so didn't have the option of leaving my pony on the trailer - I always managed to find someone who would hold him. He did tend to be good though!

Have you thought of a mirror in the box?
