...and it was so much fun!!!
Since reading about WillieLove's go with Gitcha, and of course, Scarlett_001's time with Skeeter, I've been wanting to have a go with Tally. Sparks would not be suitable, I distinctly remember the times I've attempted to lunge her, and they were a qualified disaster!
I went horsey-shopping this morning, and got Tally a whole lot of new gear, including a bright red bouncy ball, brushes, a sweat-rug, a new bit (exactly the same as his other one, except the other one squeaks something chronic!) and most importanly, a lunge line, so I could have a go!
I brought Tally in, and got him all ready. Can anyone guess what his colour is?!
Me tying myself up in knots with the lunge lines then followed. Tally stood in the middle of my arena, which is in need to mowing again, and looked a little bemused as to why Mummy was wrapping ropes around him.
I finally managed to get my lines sorted out, and wow, Tally is such a dude! He didn't mind the crazy person walking behind him, attached to him by long strings, counting "one, two three four" to herself. He just happily went around with everything!
In walk
Showing off his "power trot"
He was so very cool about it all, and I enjoyed it a lot, even though it told me how fit I am, and how my knees won't stand up to that much running too often (I can now barely walk ) but I may have another go soon!
Tomorrow is another test of Tally's sensibility...and lots and lots of photos will be taken, I can assure you!
