:D Dont know if you remember but have only had JJ a short while and after he threw a wobbly (without me on him even!) in the paddock my almost zero confidence plummeted even further.

Well YO has been helping me out with him until I could gather up courage to get on him again. Today I did it!!!:D:D:D:D Nothing very exciting - just a slow and dignified plod down the lane and back with YO and her OH escorting me.

Cant tell you how relieved I am - was just soooo convinced that when I eventually got back on him I would collapse into a trembling heap over his neck:eek: Actually felt totally relaxed and so at home on him. Blimey - will this feeling last do you think??

Well done you :D you must feel incredibly pleased and proud of yourself, I know exactly how you felt. I had a very bad riding accident 4 years ago and it took me 18 months to get back on my horse. I'll never forget that day, I swear I was nearly sick with anxiety. I still have my moments but now I know my horse so well and I actually trust him with my life.

Take it one step at a time, remember to breath ! relax and enjoy :)

Go, you!!!

We're back level again now then - and no doubt you'll be ahead of me soon, cos I've only had two short rides on Kels this week after I promised myself I'd get on her every day, and me and the OH are away for a few days next week!

Well done!

Thats fab! Well done! I'm finding it a little challenging with Tia, but mainly due to her being very unsettled, losing her field mate and now she has to move again tomorrow! She is a bit bargy and I had to tell her off properly today. Made me a bit nervous though I have to say. My OH took off her flyrug as I felt nervous doing it, so stupid really.

But anyway, don't want to hijack your thread, baby steps are great, let us know how youre getting on, its helping me just knowing that others are in the same boat with their new horsies!
