please explaine to me what the differnt heights of poles used for having a

jumping at a RS please?

one more question what are the pro's & cons off not exacising a pony if he had been riden all day yesterday and for a kids party today then had fun &

games rested after lunch then was used at odd times till closing time

I hope i have made sence here :)

ok - you mean like what heights are the competitions at a riding school usually?

they can be any height from just a few inches off the ground upwards... usually Nursery Novice is 2ft ish and Novice 2ft6, the intermediate 2ft9 and open 3ft and above - very roughly!

Hi Horsesaddle,

The jumps can go up by a cup hole or in shows they go like 2ft6, 2ft9, 3ft... etc

With regards to pros and cons of that pony, pros are that the horse will be fit and kept using his brain because he's worked! The cons are he might get bored if he does the same thing all the time or he's over worked xxx
