I know this isn't a very nice topic but I don't know who else to talk to about it! My husband and I need to make a will and I have some concerns about what would happen to any horse I might own at the time of my death. I keep my horse on full livery at a local farm and none of my family ride other than me. I am 46 by the way, married with 2 grown up sons.
Just wondered if any one else here has made a will and has made provision for their horse? Has anyone left a donation to a horse charity and arranged for the horse to go there? Or gifted him to someone else? I am really concerned about this - particularly as my current boy is 19. Obviously I am not planning on going quite yet - but we never know whats around the corner and I just feel I should make my wishes known.
Anyone have any advice or thoughts to share?
