Major update, mainly photos

I was incredibly touched to see I was missed here (and I promise to update Xaile's blog, I have been writing it elsewhere so tomorrow I'll copy and paste!)

Anyway Xaile has been doing great. Here are some schooling pics from the last couple of weeks:

And then here's the major update. I've bought a new one:eek:. He's a Lusitano part bred. He's 16hh and 13 and most importantly a schoolmaster. He's hopefully going to teach me what I need to know to bring Xaile on more. He's calle Oblisco by the way, but we call him Lisco.

He caused a bit of a stir at our OLD yard (yes we've moved) as apparently he was an RSPCA case, well tell me if you think he is, but if you bare in mind that he's just been gelded last month and then travelled for 4 days I think he's in pretty good condition.

He's an incredibly sweet loving horse, and breath taking looking.

And these are at his lovely new home, finally being allowed to play. He had an amazing time yesterday showing off, but sadly I didn't have my camera. He was a bit more restrained today, but he's still a bit stunning.

Really?!?! :eek: He's definitely NOT an RSPCA case, some people :rolleyes:
 
it should be illegal to have 2 such gorgeous horses:eek: your new lad is absolutely stunning:D and Xaile looks as lovely as ever

OEH why is his hanging cheek at that angle? (in the spanish walk photo) bad angle? Or does it need to go up a hole?

Sounds to me like they had a serious case of "green eyed monster" syndrome ;)

I just LOVE that third pic of Lisco with his forlock flying in the breeze!! He's absolutely stunning! And Xaile looks as gorgeous as ever! You must feel so proud :)

And sounds like the move was a wise one, I would say it sounded like they were jealous! :rolleyes:
