Mikey is healing well but his leg has started swelling again overnight - quite bad actually I was thinking of bandaging his back legs tonight but have never done it before and worry about doing it wrong. I tried bandaging his legs once - put the foam pad on, bandaged - not too tight/slack and his leg looked like a little tree trunk!!
The girl I was going to ask to show me can't until tomorrow morning, so i was thinking - would putting his equi-chaps (mud fever) boots on have the same effect?
I could try bandaging, I have the foam pads and felt bandages if anyone has any tips?
His legs have always filled a little when he is in at night, and when his mudfever was at its worst his whole leg was swollen. Recently it hasn't been too bad but this morning his whole leg was swollen and he was quite stiff. Could this be because he was cold last night? Because it was soo warm i left him rugless last night - he wasn't cold this morning but he wasn't that warm either.
