Couldn't be prouder of Cally - Pony.
So today I trailered Cally alone to a jumping clinic at an equestrian centre with a full set of jumps. Normally I like others to be with me when I'm towing for moral support and to help load etc but my friend cancelled so I went by myself.
At the lesson we were in at the deep end with a set of 4 canter poles which turned into a 4 jump grid. This was to help her lengthen her stride and stay straight.
Once Cally was jumping those nicely we did a water tray with panels over the top and a skinny and some uprights. Then a whole course which included the 4 jump grid and all the 'scary' jumps we had practiced.
So we basically did a whole course in which each individual jump was harder than anything we have jumped before. I was beaming at the end and now I'm totally knackered. As, no doubt, is Cally.
My next ambition is an arena eventing comp in December. Onwards and upwards.....
