So my little horse has been jumping a 4 foot 6 (at least) fence to get into the long grass in the field next to hers. I noticed she had a few weird scrapes on her, and the YO said that two mornings running he's found her in a different field! We're going to put the fence up and double fence it tomorrow - bit worried about leaving her in there tonight but if she does try and jump and doesn't get it quite right, the fence twine should just snap so she shouldn't hurt herself. I had no idea she was capable of jumping so high! I guess her old owner wasn't lying when she told me she was a good hunter!

Bless... it's surprising how high they can jump to get to what they want or if they are in a panic. Belle can easily clear 4'6 without a rider and she's only 14.2! She's also an amazing contortionist when it comes to reaching grass too.
