Was wondering if any other NR members go. How you got on and how you found the jumping. I used to compete at a high level show jumping until the age of 14 then had a knee injury. I've not jumped properly since, however there is a jumpcross course near us and my ex BSJA mare who I've only popped over a log once or twice and I are thinking of going. Very daunting as the last time I had a lesson was probably as a teen. I'm now 24

Anyone here want to share their experiences?

I really want to have a go at it, as I have a bit of a phobia of jumping big solid fences but am fine with showjumps yet I love having a blast round a big open field.
I also have a youngster whom I want to eventually event :).

I don't have any jump-cross places/courses anywhere near me, the nearest one is Grange farm... about 2 hours away :(

I have done a training session, though haven't competed. it was fun, and the jumps were all small and knock donwnable. Most centres seem to run training session - why not give one a go - I am sure that they will let you do as much as you feel comfortable with.
