What can i say?! The 2 1/2 hours we were there were brilliant! The horse who hates water has had a change of heart (after a few minutes being a numpty at the edge!! ). Part of the water complex opened out onto a field and it was quite a struggle to get Mr Fabio back under control as he galloped out the water up the hill!!!
The trainer we had there (Emily) was brilliant. Couldn't have asked for a nicer person to have with us. Was 5 of us in the group, none of us had done Jump cross before. Luckily a couple of the horses were ok with water so we had a lead in the first few times!!
Anyone who was worried about the height - don't be!!!! If you think the jumps too high they'll put them down to what height you want, so don't take it as red that it's 2'-2'6!
I didn't fall off either which was a bonus!!
Anyway, pics and vids, sorry guys - there are loads!!! OH done a stirling job as cameraman today (and also putter up of jumps as he had wellies on!! )

Sounds great! Brilliant piccies too!!

I'd love to give jump cross a try, might put it on my list of 'want to do's' for next year. The height has put me off a bit in the past but if they're happy to put them down for training then

Looks loads of fun.

Fab that he got on fine with the water  I keep my lot right next to a big EC, often hearing over the tanoy that some poor rider is having problems at the water.

That looks like a lot of fun, you've just cermented it in my head now that I definately want to do a Jump Cross event or training day or just even have a go one day !
