Hadn't seen them since the earthquake struck in my hometown and seeing my Mum so sick last weekend. Meant the world that Jazz was being so lovely.

How are things now for your family?

Got my Mum out of Christchurch to stay with family in Wanganui where she can continue her chemotherapy. My Dad is finding it hard to cope with the fact that he's lost his business with no indication of how insurance and rebuilding will work out and when. My brother is still in those eastern suburbs with no power and his boys (my nephews) are finding the aftershocks really upsetting.
