As well as the cold weather, Dave is bringing over MY NEW SADDLE, tomorrow, late afternoon!!! Excited and terrified in equal measures.....

I've got to be honest, I've been properly de-motivated these past couple of weeks so haven't felt much like doing any work with Gracie, it's been such a pants year for us and I love autumn riding so it's been particularly hard this time. So anyway, today I thought I'd better lunge her to remind her what the school looks like as I'll be riding in there trialling the saddle tomoz. Well.... for the first five minutes she just wanted to canter around and around!! I'm kind of glad I did lunge her now...
I'm kind of dreading that on Saturday, with jess barely ridden, taking her to an arena we hadn't been to in year on a suddenly fresh day on a wind farm, I'm sure she'll be fine but the potential is there for some excitement.
