In hand showing tips

My 10 yr old daughter is showing the pony she rides at the weekend and is a little nervous, she would like to know if anyone has got any tips for her.

A few tips Look cute put some pigtails in,Smile big thing,listen to judge and do what they ask. have a look in collecting ring at other ponys not nice to say but if there is a pony that looks out of shape or is not much of a looker when you go into ring place yourself behind that pony.In hope that judges eye will pass that pony by and see you more.If your pony has a good trot when asked go at a slower pace so judge can see the trot.If pony is not straight on trot run at a speed where pony is going fast this is to hide a bad trot. Try get pony intrested in what they are doing and ears forward etc,And dont do what I do and forget what number you are as when you are called in you dont want judge having to run out and get you.sorry could go on but wont..good luck
