Ideas of what to do/get to remember my loan horse?

My share horse who've I've loved for years is sadly being sold by her owner this summer. I'll miss her a lot and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of something I can have made/get/make/do as a little keepsake to remember her. Thank you in advance.

Could you get a photoshoot done? And if the owner doesn't mind then maybe take some tail her for a bracelet, or a smaller amount that could be put in a pendant.

When I lost my old boy I made a montage of one of his shoes, a plait of his tail and some photos of him. Maybe the owner would let you have an old shoe and some tail hair, and yes - some photos with her would be a lovely memento.

I would have loved to - but I don't think I'm prepared to financially commit to owning a horse yet. Definitely a shame, she's incredibly been my best friend for 5 years so life's going to be a lot more empty without her quirks and attitude.
