Decide what's for you, based on your experience as a rider and an owner. Give us a bit more info about yourself, and people on the forum can advise better.

You are wanting to purchase a new horse - What kind of horse are you looking for? How much experience with horses do you have? What is your riding ability? What discipline do you do or would like to start doing? These are all questions you need to ask yourself before purchasing a horse and to help you find the perfect horse for you. There are lots of horses out there for sale. I recommend looking to buy horses closer in your area so you are able to view the horse - you can travel across the world if you'd like (that's if you have the money) but you'd have to be spending a lot of money on travelling when you aren't even sure if the horse is the right one. Always view a horse before you buy one, otherwise you have no idea what you are buying and what the sellers are like! You can find loads of horse selling websites that have millions of different horses on the market. Do you know anyone that can tell you if there are any horses for sale in the area too? They would help you find the right horse for you. The price of horses are very costly, the horse its self is not what is going to cost you the most, you need to pay vet bills, vaccines + dewormers, feed, tack, fencing, board or grass and stables (1.5 acres of grass at least per horse), injuries - what if your horse gets seriously injured and you have to end up paying thousands for the vet, grooming kits, stable rugs, turnout rugs, buckets, hay, halters and more. Finding the right horse can take a long time but is very very worth it in the end!
