how much weight could this pony carry?

my mam is wanting to learn to ride but im unsure that enka will bebale to hold her weight

she is an arab mare and 14.1/14.2 hands

i am 9.5 stone and she carrys me fine so wht would be her limit?

Im not sure but I am sure I read somewhere that Arabs are a lot stronger than they look.

It also depends on the size of area of your saddles pannels. Even if your horse could take 20 stone (which it obviously can't!) this wouldn't be the case in a saddle with small pannels because of the lack of area to spread the weight over. The lbs per inch would be too high and kill of the cells underneath due to restricted blood flow.

Arabs are tough and can carry grown men. They look dainty but aren't!
My mare carries me no probs- 11 stone.
