Help! I need to give my months notice

But due to having just found out I have 2 days to put together a presentation for a job interview before I go away on holiday I dont think I will get down the yard till late tonight and I dont want to be disturbing the YO late on. Would it be acceptable to ring/ text to hand in my notice today?

I think face to face is better... try not to leave under a cloud. Phoning or texting is not really the best way to do it I'm afraid..

You could write a nice letter and put it through their letter box, say you will explain in person when you have more time.

You probably should give notice in writing anyway

I would do it face to face, texts can always be read the wrong way and it really isn't worth leaving anywhere on bad terms unless you have to

Thanks guys, i texted YO to ask if they would be around tomorrow as I needed a chat, they text and said yes they would be but what was up, kinda not replied coz that would defeat the object of talking face to face lol.
