has anyone used the barrier a/h/c fly repellent?

title asks really, just wanted to know if people have used it if so what effects did it have i.e how long did it last, as i have brought some for merlin

it brought my horse out in a terrible rash , i certainly won't be wasting money on any of the companys products again!

I've given up on fly repellants, the best thing I've found is Cider Vinegar in their feed - flies HATE it
