I wasn't competing today but my boss was in 3 classes so we were there most of the day. It was raining most of the day and very humid, horses and riders were wet and uncomfortable , and the ground wasn't holding up very well - lots of horses slipping even with studs and very few clear rounds, though my boss had one of them and finished 5th in the 1.20m Grand Prix. We had homemade cake in the lorry at lunchtime and I opened my presents. As usual I am feeling very spoiled! - I got a bit and fancy bridle for Annie, a show shirt and jumping gloves, a long-sleeved top and a summer jacket from Horseware Ireland, and a pass for the XC day at the World Equestrian Games. Got the usual money from my parents and some handpainted photo frames from my grandma (who is 97 on Monday!). We went out for pizza tonight and they had made a massive 3-chocolate cake which between 6 of us didn't really last very long
