decided to clip Rosie's feathers off because i wanted to see how swollen her bad leg was...thing is shes fully hairy and unrugged so her body is sooooo hairy and her lower legs now look totally ridiculous! i am sure Moet is laughing at her! lol!

the swelling really is quite large - as shown on the attached pic, but already the next day its dramatically reduced, the feathers are too good insulation for an inflammed area!

im not sure the pictures really show just how much of a difference there is - the hair is about an inch thick on her knees! lol!

Oh mean Mummy!!! I had to do that to Solomon a couple of months back when he had hay fever - he looked (and still does) ridiculous - like he had a full set of plus fours on!! Glad the swelling is going down now.:happy:
 
Very nice.

I had someone today ask why my horse had hairy legs.
He has a full clip, bar his legs. Which are very long and hairy. I nearly told him I had glued extra hair on his legs, just to be different.:playfull::playfull:
