Had a lovely afternoon with Em1 yesterday

She and a friend came to meet the ponies, hank got most of the attention, he was strutting his stuff on our walk into the forest. He loved it and Em even had him popping logs and what a pop he has (sadly my phone camera wasnt quick enough to catch it), he thoroughly enjoyed himself

It was lovely to meet you all and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves too. Hank is a star and I loved our little jumping session together - I didn't realise he hadn't done it before so just legged it towards the log and he followed without hesitation bless him. He absolutely flew it - he's got a career as a miniature puissance horse I think He's got the sweetest little power trot on him too. My friend was nervous around him to start with but by the end was comfortable giving him a good scratch and a cuddle. I think the thorough licking he gave her boots broke the ice By the end I think she was plotting ways to pop him on the back seat and 'pony nap' him

Jess is gorgeous and was so polite and calm that my friend even felt confident enough to stroke her a couple of times (given she is very scared of horses this is an indication of how lovely Jess and Hank are and what a good job they did).

They are fabulous - particularly the last one He's almost too cute, you couldn't ever be cross with him (even when he polishes off your dinner)
