H E L P given too much Equimax

Can someone please give me some advise - The ring that is supposed to determine the dosage of the wormer Equimax was not on properly and I have given my horse the whole dose instead of half. Will it hurt him ???

What does your horse weigh? If it is nothing drastic in difference I wouldn't worry too much, just keep an eye on him.

If its any consolation I gave one of my little rescue donkeys a whole dose of Equavalan Duo 2 weeks ago by mistake - and believe me he is the tiniest , skinnyiest little runt of a donkey I've ever seen!!! He is still alive and well and putting on weight - but I did have a couple of sleepless nights worrying that he would drop dead on me!

I did that last year. Maya was fine. Didn't notice any difference in her

I meant to add to my post earlier (sorry) I was told by a vet friend that wormer products are tested to allow for mistakes (overdose) likewise with products like sedalin etc.

It is natural to worry though!
