Good news for Irish riders & horses - Allianz Horse Health Insurance!

My friend has her cats insured with Allianz and she got this notice in with her renewal form the other day, so I rang them and yes - hopefully next month they will be launching horse & rider insurance, you can ring and register your interest and then they will send you out the details when its launched!

Dont worry - I dont work for them but thought it might be of interest!

It'd be nice to see a company bring out a good policy. Lets hope it is.

Think theres some other company who have a horse health policy but its crap, you pay 500 a year min if you're lucky and can only have one claim and its some tiny amount, like that wouldn't even cover a minor op.
