We're not sure, he has a lameness issue, but the amount of pain he is showing is far greater than you would expect for how lame he is.

The vets aren't sure, but the potential scenarios they have given are looking pretty grim.

Thanks folks, things are loooking a bit brighter today. He is still in pain, but he does seem to be more comfortable than a few days ago and the pain meds seem to be helping.

His owner is holding up wonderfully, we are focussing on short term positives at the moment.

Bless, my boss has just allowed me to skip a meeting through in Perth tomorrow so I can stay in Edinburgh and be close in case anything bad happens. I almost cried when he said he totally understands how stressful it can all be.
