From barbed wire to electric fencing..

Shadow's always been in post and wire/barbed fencing... our new place is post and electric fencing, and properly done.. I need to ask, how did your horses respond when they first met electric fencing?
I'm thinking of turning him out naked for a few days, so rugs don't disguise the shock..
I'm going up tomo to pay deposit, just had news that they've achieved BHS status :dance: Yo is over the moon, they all seem really nice, and I'm so excited of the upcoming move (next Sat)..
Just two weeks ago, I would never have thought I'd be moving so soon!

Would deffo chuck out naked. They just jump back slightly looking indignant. Lol have shocked max and myself when i had hold of him and touched the wire haha

Just that - jump back with a few snorts as though 'oh my god' Mind you it makes me jump as well when I catch myself on it!!! And naked is good, only takes one zap and they get that touching it is not a good idea.
