Hello,
I have recently just purchased a pair of tall boots, I was wondering once you have your jods and socks on how tight fitting the boots are supposed to be? As I have found that once I tried them on with my jods there was still a gap between my calf and the boot. I don't want to wear them if they don't fit properly as I won't be able to return them for a smaller size.

Thanks
Katrina

I think that if the boots are comfortable then they are okay. Personally I prefer boots to be tight fitting as I have more "feel" of the horse but if you like loose boots then they are alright. Sometimes loose boots are handy so that you can stuff your whip into them!!!

hi katrina , how are you finding your new boots , i think chinesewhispers is right as long as they fell comfortable and not flapping about and annoying you or your feet dont slide about in them too much then youll be fine, i too prefer mine to be tight fitting that way i can feel the horse better , i hope your enjoying your riding and have fun
