For those of you that read about the horrible accident that happened at my yard in December ... we're having the farrier out today for the first time since the accident. I've worked out my schedule so I can be there for moral support if anything. It should go fine, but it's a bit unnerving anyways.
In other news, the owner of Rusty (the old morgan) has decided to move him off our yard. My poor boy, Cody, is going to be a little sad, I think. I've noticed they've been together a lot recently. The arthritis in his shoulders is getting pretty bad and his owner wants to keep him indoors more often (we just have pasture board) as well as keep him closer to her home. So we'll be down to only 6 horses at the yard now. It's going to be so lonely out there now.
