experiences of canker pls - good or bad :(

Need to know if people have succeeded & if so what treatments worked, how bad was it when diagnosed and how long it took. Are there any particular places to contact that have good success rates? If the horse/pony didn't make it, at what point did you know that and again how bad was it when diagnosed? Thanks
