Exciting ride/forest fire

I rode G out last night with my old neighbour who is now on his yard, we were merrily bumbling around the forest when we see a huge cloud of dust with blue flashing lights coming towards us (a fire engine at speed on a dirt track), it turned the way we had just come from but we hadn't seen or smelt any fire, so intrigued we headed back in that direction, then a smaller truck followed, and another engine, obviously there was a blaze somewhere, eventually we saw the smoke and headed home so as not to get in the way. From the below it looks like it was a small fire they got control of quickly, thankfully. Its not even the first one for this year sadly, and I'll bet there will be lots more, hopefully not as bad as last year.

I has been very dry in our little bit of the UK for the last year, we have had some rain the last couple of weeks but it takes a lot before the ground under the pines is wet.

Not sure I'd like to meet a fire engine on a dirt track but they do an amazing job. Glad everyone's safe!
