Just seen the schedule for the Grafton hunter trials the weekend after this. Planned to enter the pairs and the open without looking at the schedule, but just looked and the pairs is 2'9-3' and the open 3'3-3'6!! Thats fine, doesn't bother me as taking Percy and could drop down to do the 3' if needed, but wonder how many people will get caught out, as pairs are usually 2'6! Surely this must put a lot of people off, as those competing 3'3+ tend to affiliate and go BE? Opens tend to be up to 3'3 so very unusual to have an unaff higher! Has anyone ever done the Grafton hunter trials and know what the course is like?
