Okay, having bought the cheap webbing copy off ebay and deciding that I love it, I am wanting to upgrade to a nice leather bridle.

I definately dont want a cheapo import leather but there are a few varieties that look good quality and I'm not sure which one is best, Dr Cook, Nurtural, BeNice etc.

Any advice appreciated:D

ps thanks to those who replied to my earlier thread. I was very brave and went without the martingale (and have finally got back off the lead rein:eek:)

I have a Dr Cook beta and rate it very highly, it's easy to look after, looks like leather and appears to be fairly indestructible. The leather ones are meant to wear on the cross straps after a while but the beta ones certainly don't. They're also quite a bit cheaper :)

I bought the nurtural in the end - had the best control with it (similar to a snaffle), and having had it for a week on trial decided I couldn't live without it!
