Question in the title really!?

I know the wpcs states that:
"Mares/Geldings four years old or over may be shown in a white webbing or rope show halter, leather head collar, show bridle or riding bridle".

But it seems that 90% of the time they are in white rope halters, any particular reason?

Thanks x

I think they just look better and more feminine. If your mare is a bit strong you could go for a flat halter with a chain lead rope :)

My mare isn't particulary strong, she is only 4 though so does sometimes have silly baby moments!

I have been showing her in a snaffle bridle, which has been ok as we're only doing local atm!

Just wondered whether there was any particular reason! Lol!

I guess its more traditional...personally i think they look smarter, also helps them stand out as being welsh especially in mixed M&M classes!
