Do horses eat mistletoe?

We have rather a lot in our trees. I believe it's poisonous to horses. I'm planning to remove everything within reach before bringing my horse home, but some is far too high. I'm particularly concerned about the berries falling to the ground in winter. Does anyone know if horses will actually eat these or avoid them? The sheep we have on the land seem to be unaffected.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards

I read on the internet that is poisonous... but I don't know if they have a tendency to eat it or not...

We also have it at home, and I pretty much did the same as you, I cut the bottom branches so they can't get at it, but they are always the odd plant growing along the ground... so I'm also interested to see if anyone else has any more information about it... :)
