Last night I was in the mood to pop some jumps with Rubic. We are going to go to the RC clear rounds on Sunday so could do with some practice.
I was warming up and a friend turned up with a fancy camera she'd borrowed from her boss. She is thinking about doing a photography course and given my recent issues with my riding I'm keen to see what I'm actually doing when I'm on board.
Unfortunately it turns out that her laptop doesn't have a slot for the SD card so she's going to give the card to me and I will transfer the photos to a USB stick but I had to laugh at some of the photos so thought I'd post a few shots my friend took off the screen of the camera:giggle:
bit of an ohoop: moment when Rubic got in really close to the jump
I'm quite pleased with this one though, Rubic was being particularly careful!
Having looked through all the photos that were taken and thinking about how things felt last night I definitely need to work on my core strength as I think I collapse after the jump a little. I might possibly end up making myself trot laps of the school in jumping position! I think I'm a little too forward and could possibly do with keeping my weight back (which would probably help keep my legs underneath me as they have a habit of swinging back) and giving with my hands more. Anyway, I'm definitely a work in progress but Rubic was trying very hard to make up for me:tongue:
