competing in nose nets

Wondering if anyone knows this, in the UK are nose nets allowed in affiliated competitions? (BE etc?)

Allowed in BE and BD but not in FEI competitions!

Thanks, is it something you have to get permission for? You can use them here but you have to apply for permission in writing to the official body. We have an English friend who's moving back to the UK after 20 years, here she uses a nose net for affiliated SJ and she wants to know if she'll be ok there.
