So still slow and steady with Farans backing. I’m in no rush really, got saddle fitter booked for 9/04 for his first propped saddle fitting, I’ve been keeping an eye on the saddle and we are good so far, so we have until then to be able to WTC for that

He’s got his first physio appt next Monday as he’s been a bit on off and his hamstrings have been tight some days. He’s fine most of the time so thinking it’s been the growth spurts.

Not lunging now just longlining (I’m knackered!!) so I’ve mostly been doing it out on the roads but in the evenings it’s in the school so I decided last night since I’d had a shit week that if he was good and settled I’d have a sit.

Our first sit with nobody in the arena or watching at all. He was a star, no bother to mount or walk round. Did three circuits on each rein then I got off. Balanced out my crappy week x

He’s being so good undersaddle for the little amount of times he’s racked up

I’m not sure that we have even hit the hour mark yet for sitting time

I have been gathering reliable bums for following in the near weeks. At present he’s enjoying leading out hacks on the long lines
