Come for a typical winter hack with me and Latnern!!

When i say typical winter, no i don't mean snow etc i mean rain and clouds lol! But even so it was a nice hack and we were out for about 3 hours!

A lot of boring roadwork un-fortunately but it was all worth it in the end!! Anyway here are the pics...

First of the long boring roads -

Wahooo, grass. Be it very wet muddy grass!

Then the best bit -

They haven't done anything to it yet so you can gallop round the whole field!

And the only cantery/gallopy vid of Lantern i have, i was always waiting for the bucking before! Yay!


And coming back up the lane to the yard!

He was fab today, only spooked about once!!

Yeah it took us a while between him sticking his head at the floor and the bucking, i thought i'd cracked it for a while but then he bucked my friend off and we had to start from scratch!

It's such a good feeling the first time you actually do it!

Lovely, looks like we both had great hacks today (I also posted a similar thread), but I'm not brave enough to try and video a canter yet! Definitely need both hands on the reins! Great long canter, fantastic..

Yeah it was fab, except he's lame again today!!! Nothing to do with the hack though lol, his mud fever has flaired up again. Hopefully be ok by wednesday though as we are ment to be hunting!
