I'm thinking it's about the time of year to start making my Christmas cake!
I endeavoured last year for the first time but I over did it a bit with moving house, the run up to Christmas & lots of other things and it's still sat at home in an airtight container with no marzipan or icing :redcarded: I'll use it as a test bed for the recipe and to practice the marzipan & icing with.
This year I plan on making lots of smaller cakes to give away at presents, as well as a family one for home.
Just wondering who else makes one and what recipe you use?
