Wwll Charlies been in since Wednesday - he has an abcess which has burst but
despite hours of attempts, sedation and bribery poulticing has been a no-no - we are treating with in over night now and out during day as we have got as far as foot picked out , sprayed with milton and purple spray -up to Saturday he was in and walked out until we were happy for turnout - hes been wuite happy and had company on the yard and seems to be enjoying the break - Friday afternoon in the space of 3 hrs he manages to customise his stable door - we use it for all 3 and it has a heavy guage anti-weave bar on ( its been on for 10 years) for Tess - see pics below - ideas on how he has managed to do this are welcome! We believe a low flying military jet was the reason for what we can only assume was an failed escape plan - luckily other than a little sore on the injured leg he seems fine.....

Oh bless him!!! Looks like he's tried to come out over the top and had a wrestle with the weave bars on his way!

Glad he's none the worse for his ordeal
