hi,daughter is doing prelim 4 test, pony unfortunately pony always goes on wrong leg in one direction, daughter usually brings him back to trot and starts again, this can take 4/5 times until he gets it right,BUT should she do this while on the test or keep going on wrong leg?obviously if she corrects him depending how quick he does it the movement will be halfway(maybe more)completed.
Thanks

thanks:)sometimes pony does it the next attempt but other times she can try all the way round the school with no avail:rolleyes:(pony still quite green in schooling)just wondered if they would lose more marks not correcting and continuing or try, but risk not getting a proper canter at all:confused:

Yes if you dont try to correct it you should get a 0 as the movement was not performed, as apposed to a 3/4 if you attempt it.
This of course depends on how the judge is feeling!!!:D

i have this problem too with toby. When i asked RI she always advised correcting it, even if it takes a few attempts. If she didn't correct it, the judge would have to assume that she didn't realise the pony was on the wrong leg and as poohsmate says she'd score zero. good luck!
