He had a great time on a recent riding club event, where he and 20 or so other horses hacked out for 2 hours. Of course he wanted to lead, but so did 3 other horses. So we had great fun controlling his enthusiasm.
Some of the ride did stubble field canters while Buddy got to lead the children, lead rein and small ponies and calm down.....at one point we were going up a narrow track and he was behind a nutty tb who was creating, in front of my friend on an equally nutty tb, with Buddy showing off in the middle.
In the end he managed to find his way to the head of the ride and led for the last hour, being first back to the boxes. He had a great time, showing off and generally being a wally.
