I am so upset as I am looking for some lovely competition boots but cannot find any to fit my wide calves. I'm 18 inches of 44 cm and I love the ariat bromant h20 boots and they just don't fit :(
I've looked at the likes of fuller fillies boots but they just look horrible! Any recommendations from wide calved ladies out there!

I just want to be normal! I dont want to pay ridiculous custom prices. I think these companies are missing a niche in the market to be honest!

Sherwood do a dressage boot - Parada. It comes in wide calf fitting but is synthetic so not sure if you really wanted leather whether they'd be suitable.
Robinsons do a Requisite Soft Top Tall boot which comes in wide fitting which is leather.

Ideally I like the look of real leather with laces on the front!!! Xxx

What is your shoes size? I too had problems. I have large feet and shortish legs, though am only 16". l solved it mostly by wearing half chaps and found Tuffa and Mountain horse ones to fit.
The staff at our yard wear Tuffa (corrected to say, many apologies. I wrote Toggi but that should read Tuffa) long boots which have an elastic panel in them and even the chubbier staff always seem to wear them. So it might be that any boot which had elastic in it?

I am only a 6 in my shoe size and have a regular height of leg! It's just super wide!!! I tried some toggis on..... no luck xxx

Sorry, I got that wrong - they wear Tuffa boots, not Toggie. I am getting too old and daft to post here!

Tuffa do a great range for wider calves, both country boots (Tuffa Suffolk, Broad) or proper riding boots (Tuffa Broadland or Breckland) or a cheaper but still good version is Gallop Gately country boots.

Tuffa boots are super. Very generously sized as well. I've just bought some kty boots (lakeside I think?) and they are also very generous. Not sure I'd ride in them, to me they are more of a yard boot.

I am not much better at 6.5-7 shoe size. The calf gets bigger as the shoe size gets bigger -- I guess I just need a basketball players size 22 foot..

Sadly its not a place you can say oh I will just loose some weight and all will be fine.
I have had heavy calves all my life:(:(:mad::mad:..
Also those expensive stupid "toning" sneakers--- DON"T WORK:mad:

I got these fuller fillies half chaps a few years ago and they are excellent in calf fit and the stretch panel
and length. I had gotten a smooth leather pair too.

I decorated them up a bit to match my Wade saddle.
