Bought Bert a new saddle today, WESTERN......been looking for ages and
lo and behold it turned out somebody I knew had one she was willing to
part company with..........it came with matching Western Bridle................

NOW THE PROBLEM.............I need a very small Western Cinch (Girth) to
fit an 11hh Shettie...........can anybody point me in the direction of WHERE
I can get one? Or any other solution? Is there anyone who could make me Four straps or something to convert Western to English?

He looks so damn cute in it:smoke: Will try to get some photo's tomorrow
but obviously he can't wear it properly until I sort the Cinch/Girth out.

Here is the saddle though

you can get the detachable girth straps from a wintec or thorowgood and use an english girth instead it works out cheaper than converter, I have done this with our pony. Or take a look on ebay when you have found out what length you need.

you can just about see it in this photo of my 12hh pony

I was looking at the Girth Converters on E Bay but thought they may
be too long...........what exactly have you got daftdraught and more to the point, where did you get them, lol.

I asked at my tack shop and they ordered them for me it onlytook a couple of days and I think I only paid about £5 for them. We use a dressage girth.

They're not leather ones that I managed to get plus I get discount so if you have trouble I can order you some and post them on.

Love that bridle where did you get it from?

I have spoken with Thorowgood and have to say they were EXTREMELY
helpful...............have some on way, BUT have also found a 20" cinch on EBAY so may go for that as well, then we
have a choice, thanks daftdraught:wink::biggrin:
