beach ride

hi i was wondering if anyone could help me, i work at a riding school and i am studying for my stages we often have to take beach hacks out me on my own horse who i know is good on the beach and the customers on the riding school horses, some of these horses are good but others are very used to the riding school enviroment and get excited on the beach although the people have to be accessed befor they go out that they can walk trot an canter some of them can be quite rubbish an no matter how much i enjoy the job i dont like having that responsibility put on me to look after 3 or more ppl incase somethings happens.
i was wondering if anyone knows weather u need some sort of licence etc to take hacks out like this ???

You don't personally as it will be covered under your Riding School's licence and insurance. When we do our insurance we have to give the name and qualifications of anyone who would escort out hacks.

You have however just identified why we don't offer hacking, it is one thing to find a rider has underestimated their ability in a school where horses can be changed and altogether another to find it out on a hack.

If it worries you or you feel that you are not happy with horse/rider allocation then you really must talk to your manager.
