A much more relaxed pony
Well, it's the third day since his return from the vets.. he's taken to being kept in really well, so well in fact, that yesterday I let him wander around the yard whilst I did his jobs.. he said hello to a couple of friends, but was calm, and went off to nibble anything that looked like grass..
Did the same tonight, let him wander, whilst doing jobs, and a happy little pony, wandered about doing pretty much the same, and seems really relaxed about the whole thing..
As soon as I returned with the fresh haylage nets, he followed me back into his stable and set off a munching..
He seems a little better with his back legs today, I only put Danolin in his tea last night, and none in his brekkie, and he seems none the worse this afternoon, so decided to not put it in his supper, as he clearly feels a lot better today.. very little blood about yesterday morning, none today, no new swellings, so he's healing nicely
I've asked for him to be allowed on the yard again for half an hour in the morning when I'm at work, to stretch his legs, and I'll be back to see him at quarter to 3..
He does seems so much more chilled, I guess his hormone levels must have dropped quite a lot over the last 24 hours, he shows very little interest in the mares now, which is good, as it shows the op was a complete success:biggrin:
